News
I have finally succeeded in releasing Kindle single ebooks for Halogen Crossing and Jurant. These join The Amulet of Renari, which was released last year. The old Facets of Fantasy book, containing five stories, has gone out of publication for the time being.
All three have been edited slightly--Jurant noticeably so, though no important plot content has been removed. Chapters have been removed, though the books are divided at natural break intervals. The Trouble with Taranui and Millhaven Castle have both grown into longer stories. I hope to release them at a later date.
I plan to put a Books page on my blog, but I had trouble with it, so it is down for now. In the meantime, here are the links to the ebooks. I'd love it if you guys could review one or two of your choice. (Since most of you have read them as part of the Facets collection.) PLEASE?? It will help get these ebook pages up and running.

Changes Ahead
I know I've been a little quiet in my blogging recently. It's not because I don't love you guys--at least I assume you are plural, although Blogger won't let me know exactly how many followers I have. Anyway, I will be optimistic and assume you are plural.
I've been busy transforming this blog to reflect my new writing direction. It's been fun to see the new look developing--it's very much a makeover for me and for my web home. I had a glitch a few days back where I accidentally posted some pics I was trying to make into a streaming slideshow. I never did get the slideshow to work, but the rest of the blog looks great.
Since this blog now goes under the new name C. A. Caldwell, I will be putting my previous Sarah Scheele publications on a different blog, which is currently under construction. The one exception might be Jurant, which would fit in well with the angle of this current blog. At some point I may also change the site address, but I'll be sure to let you know if I do that!
I hope we'll have fun in the months ahead. I should be unveiling the first of my "Pop Culture Moment" skits soon, and I look forward to your commentary on it. Book reviews should continue, though I'm not doing as many, and doing more contemporary and historical than fantasy.
In any case, if you're still loyal at the end of this total makeover, be assured I love you. People who actually follow one's blog long-term are more valuable than rubies. :D

Just Because I Want to Know . . .
I thought I'd ask my friends.
WHAT IS PINTEREST?
I've been receiving constant hints that this site is out there. Some of my friends insert pictures from Pinterest into their posts--others do things on Facebook that show a Pinterest affiliation. Finally my sister, who is on the site, told me it is for posting pages of pictures. I'm still a little confused . . . and wondering, of course, if I need to get a Pinterest.
If any of you are on Pinterest, please tell me how the site is useful to you. Do any of you find it a good book promotion tool, and if so, how do you use it for that? Can you add friends or make new contacts on Pinterest? I have an idea at this point that the members simply collect and share pictures of favorite topics (such as rainbows, dogs, or unripe fruit.) Does the site have hidden functions I don't know about?
Thanks so much for any feedback. I'm trying to go easy on joining new social sites. But if this site could be helpful to me, I'd like to know--and who better to ask than people who are already using it?
